Artist's CommentsOverall This is the second part of a three-way art trade between Inderz, Eeferz, and myself. This one is for teh Inderz. So silly Ms. Inde didn't give me much to work with in her request, in fact, she truthfully didn't give me anything xD so I spent a long while thinking of what to do. And after I finally figured out the idea (read in 'behind the picture' ) it was a matter of finding the perfect stock. I am very pleased with the results, I hope Inde likes it too  As always C&C is welcome and encouraged. behind the picture So it took a while to develop the idea behind this picture. What I finally decided to do was try to make a picture depicting Inde, obviously not as a human hehe. I wanted to give her a picture that represented part of her. Or if nothing else I wanted to give her a picture to put on her desktop that brings relaxation and serenity with it. I hope I at least succeeded at one. The quote is something I could see Inde saying .... I really hope I'm not way off hehe. I didn't change either picture all that much but I think they look good together. The biggest thing is the poor excuse for hoofprints I have in there >.< I think I might remove those and repost because the do not look good. Time: Approx 3 hours. (Including the stock search). Also, in soft sand the hooves will sink down quite a bit- they go under quite a bit when the sand is really wet and loose.
And one last tip- when you are doing a reflection don't just do a simple vertical flip because the feet won't all match up. Crop off each of the legs individually and overlap the reflected hoof under the real hoof just enough so that the outside edges match up exactly.
(Miss you! Hope that helps a bit.)
Also that's a really good tip for the shadow, I don't think I would have thought of that.
